Baby Banter - under 1's group

This session aims to provide a safe and stimulating environment for babies to explore and develop all areas of learning. It allows parents to build a support network of friends and to take ideas delivered within sessions into the home to extend learning and development.

This session is delivered with a different theme each week - please see the Baby Banter activity timetable for details.

Baby Massage

Baby massage aims to encourage health and well-being for parents and babies.  Baby massage can help to improve baby brain development, motor skills and promote stronger immunity for babies.

Baby massage gives parent opportunities to bond together and enjoy an experience together. It is an opportunity for the adult to begin to learn to appreciate those early skills of communication - eye contact, gesture and body language. Massage allows the baby to relax and have different body parts stimulated and exercised gently. It allows the baby to gaze at their carer and respond with gesture, sounds and body positioning, thus developing those initial communication skills. Baby is able to begin to express preferences and make choices.
